Halichoeres bivittatus (Bloch 1791), the Slippery Dick Wrasse, is a standard item offered out of the tropical western Atlantic. Initial phase/female in Key Largo 2014. 

Halichoeres maculipinna (Muller & Troschel 1848), the Clown Wrasse. West Atlantic; Carolina to Brazil. To 18 cm. Terminal phase/male in Key Largo 2014. 
 
Hemiemblemaria simulus Hildebrand 1940, Wrasse Blenny. Tube dweller that sneaks out mimicking female Blue-Headed Wrasses to nip other fishes... also a consumer of copepods. To 4 inches max. length. Here in Key Largo 2014.  
 
Holocentrus rufus (Walbaum 1792), Longspine Squirrelfish. Another steady catch for the pet-fish trade out of the tropical West Atlantic, at a much more manageable maximum length of fourteen inches (in the wild). Note white tips of hard dorsal fin spine membranes. Key Largo 2014.
